Residential Program

Ladies of Promise Residential Program is when a client will live at the Ladies of Promise Facility for a period of time, this time can vary but most often it is around 30 days. The reason for this is because we want to provide a safe and comforting environment that allows the client to focus solely on their recovery. The Residential medical services include a History and Physical examination to evaluate and treat any medical conditions. They also will have a psychiatric assessment to evaluate and treat any mood or vegetative symptoms. Nursing staff monitor vital signs and administer prescribed medications. Medical Services also work closely with therapists and the treatment team to coordinate care. Our client's care plan is never set in stone, our medical and therapeutic staff will adapt a client's treatment plan to ensure that we see the results that we are looking for. A part of that adaptation of the client's treatment plan may be a change in the time that they are in the Residential Program because here at Ladies of Promise we want to be sure our clients are ready to successfully make that transition to the Intensive Outpatient or Outpatient Program before they make that change to not only make sure they are in the best environment for themselves but for other clients as well.

(Intensive) Outpatient

Outpatient Program

At Ladies of Promise we take our Outpatient Program very seriously and are committed to seeing our client's treatment through until they have overcome their battle with addiction. We do this by offering a variety of different services to clients as they progress through the Outpatient Program.

These services include but are not limited to:

  • OBOT/MAT facility

Our office based opioid treatment (OBOT) or medicine assisted treatment (MAT) facility is located at 2600 Broadway Suite 105, Louisville Ky. This office provides office based opioid treatment to anyone in the community and serves clients in the Ladies of Promise residential & outpatient programs not only with MAT but with primary care as well.

  • Addiction Education

Most individuals who struggle with substance abuse disorders continue to progressively get worse due to a lack of knowledge and understanding of applying the corrective measures in order to recover. So at Ladies of Promise we make it a priority to educate our clients about not only how and why this disease has so much power over them but also how to overcome it.

Our primary goal is to educate our clients on the progression of the disease of addiction, one effective method to convey this information is through group education. We study utilizing textbooks in addition to manualized programming. This gives the client an opportunity to learn and complete homework assignments at their own pace. We also introduce the 12 steps which also provides additional relapse prevention techniques in order to work toward permanent sobriety.
